TENNIS:
Tennis is offered in both group and individualized lessons. Skill development in this sport will last a lifetime.
GOLF:
Beginners will learn the basics of golf - stance, hitting, and proper technique. Additionally, more advanced golfers may have the opportunity to play 9 holes at our local golf club.
CYCLING:
For campers 11 years old and over with cycling experience. Trips will be off the property making use of the many trails and roads in the area on our Specialized - Hard Rock Mountain Bikes.  WATER-SKIING & WAKEBOARDING:
Two ski boats are used in the water-skiing activity. Each boat is specifically designed to pull water skiers. Campers are taught the basics of water skiing by qualified instructors and progress through the various levels of achievement described by the American Water-Skiing Association. GO-KARTS:
Go-karts is a very popular activity. The campers compete on the Camp Marist track for control as well as for the best times. Trophies are awarded for individual and dual track records.
ARTS & CRAFTS:
Campers will have an opportunity to work on different projects based on their interests such as leather work, copper, models, and painting and many creative options. Ceramics and pottery may also be selected. TARGET SPORTS:
Air Rifles is for the younger boys and girls, under age 12. The training includes instruction on the correct use and care of firearms as well as target shooting. Campers can earn awards for their shooting skills on targets.
Riflery is under the direction of a certified National Rifle Association instructor. Proper care and use of .22 caliber rifles at a safe firing range is taught. Campers progress through the levels established by the National Rifle Association for target shooting. Riflery is only for campers who are 12 years or ago or older.
Archery is also one of our most popular activities. The excellent record of Camp Marist archers in competitions with neighboring camps is indicative of the competency and skill of both our instructors and campers. Campers progress according to the achievement levels recognized by the National Camp Archery Association. HORSEBACK RIDING:
(Western Style)- Lessons by our competent riding instructors enable the beginner to learn to ride safely in the corral. Our large campus with several bridle paths affords space for more experienced riders SKATE PARK ACTION:
Develop your skills on your skateboard or in-line skates on our ramps and rails.
OFF-ROAD CYCLING:
This is for advanced cyclists. Classes will take riders off the main roads and on to rural paths and trails. Skills and techniques of riding a mountain on off-road trails will be taught.
INLINE HOCKEY:
This activity is for campers who already can skate and know the basics of in-line hockey. Participants will learn in-line hockey strategy plays - practice as a team - and compete with each other and other camps.
FISHING:
Campers can fish from our docks at special times. Campers who would like to fish on a regularly scheduled basis may select fishing as an activity. They will be taken onto the lake on our roomy 24 foot pontoon fishing boat. Tackle and bait will be provided or you can bring your own gear.
IRON MAN FITNESS:
Want to leave camp a "real iron man"? This cardio-vascular (swimming, running, cycling, rowing) and muscle development (weight room) course will help you achieve your goal. Return to school in the fall at your peak. Open to boys 13 years and older.
NATURE HIKING:
Like Nature? How about getting some exercise by hiking some of our many trails on and off campus. Camp Marist is located on 300 acres on the shores of Lake Ossipee. What a way to spend part of a summer day Learning about the trees, plants, and wild life of the lake region will also be part of this activity. WATER ACTIVITIES:
Canoeing - Windsurfing - Row Boating - Sailing - Skin Diving - Swimming Instruction - Red Cross Canoeing
MARTIAL ARTS:
Learn the basic fundamentals and principles of martial arts. Campers will learn basic moves and compete against each other.
LIFEGUARDING COURSE:
This certified program meets each day. Campers must be enrolled for the entire summer. The American Red Cross recognizes those who successfully complete the course, as lifeguards. Campers must be at least 15 years of age.
POWER BOAT DRIVER EDUCATION COURSE:
The power boat driver education course familiarizes campers with the boating laws of New Hampshire. Campers learn to operate and drive various sized powerboats under the supervision of the instructor. The course concludes with a test given by an officer from the New Hampshire Department of Safety which will qualify those who pass for a commercial boating license when old enough. Age 12 and older.
WEIGHT LIFTING:
Available to campers 12 years or older. Campers learn to safely use weight lifting equipment and participate in an individual weight lifting program. Programs for individual development are put together for each participant.
