Camp Marist is a place where special things happen around the clock.  There are some times when the special things that happen seem even more extraordinary!  At any given time over the course of the summer, you may be surprised by any of the following:

     -Strawberry picking and Shortcake night

     -Talent Shows

     -Martial Arts Demonstration

     -International Night

     -Drive-In Movie night

     -Christmas In July

     -Camp Marist Idol

     -4th of July Carnival

But that's not all...be ready to expect the unexpected!

Off-Camp Trips

DEEP SEA FISHING: Our deep sea fishing trips for the more adventurous fisherman is very popular. Campers are taken on a chartered fishing vessel from Portsmouth, NH, usually for mackerel or blue fish. Lunch and dinner are provided. This is not an overnight trip. For campers ages 8 and up.

SEA DOGS PARTY DAY:  See the Portland Sea Dogs baseball game at Hadlock Field.  This includes a picnic style BBQ dinner, transportation by bus, admission to the game and dinner in the park.  This is not an overnight trip.  Campers of all ages may attend.  *Dates to be determinded based on the Sea Dogs baseball schedule.  Space limited to 40 campers.

WHITE WATER RAFTING: An overnight camping trip to the Maine wilderness includes a day’s rafting down the Kennebec River under the supervision of trained instructors. The trip includes transportation, all meals, camping, rafts and safety equipment. Only a limited number of spaces are available. Campers 12 and up may attend.

“THE BLAST!”: This day trip is just for the younger campers (ages 6-11). Start your day at the camp office where you’ll compete in “The Silliest Face Painting” contest. The winning face wins the $10.00 prize to spend on the trip. Everyone then boards the bus to head out to Funtown/Splashtown USA, an amusement park and water slides. Spend the entire day riding the wild rides or coasting down the mega-slides! Lunch is provided in the park. On the ride home, it’s dinner and then blow your minds on ice cream sundaes till you burst! You’ll crawl back to your cabin that night, if you make it through…THE BLAST! Campers 6-11 may attend.

BEACH MADNESS: Spend two days at the ocean. You’ll stay at a modern hotel in Hampton Beach. You’ll spend one day at “Water Country”, a fantastic collection of water slides and rides. That evening, you’ll have the two-mile stretch of Hampton Beach and the Boardwalk to tour. Laser tag, video games, food and fireworks will fill your evening. The next day, its time to pack up and head north to the amusement rides of Fun Town USA in Saco, ME. Dinner and beach games along the coast will follow with an all-you-can-eat ice cream stop before heading back to camp. Campers 12 and up may attend.

ICE SKATING: That’s right…Ice Skating in the middle of summer! During this great ½ day trip, you will depart from camp after lunch and travel to North Conway’s Ham Ice Arena for an afternoon of skating. Skates will be provided at the rink. Then, a summer ice skating trip wouldn’t be complete without a stop for a delicious ice cream sundae…brrr! Open to all ages.
