Packing List

If you are like most people when packing for a trip, you may be struggling over what to bring. We have provided a Camp Marist Packing list to help you. It is likely each person will prioritize different things, but please keep in mind that sneakers are required. In addition, please remember that you will need some warmer clothes especially for the evenings when it can get a bit cooler. You should also have a discussion with your camper about taking care of their belongings. Camp is really not a place for expensive items of clothing or other belongings so plan accordingly. It is also important that your camper’s name is on all items, so their items do not end up in the “lost & found.”

Important Reminders:

  • Sheets, blankets and pillows are provided. You may add items to this list such as a teddy bear, reading book, or other personal items.
  • Please leave expensive electronics and other items at home. Camp Marist is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged.
  • Laundry is done once a week for all campers. Again – names on clothes and personal items is very important.
  • Space is limited inside the cabins so we discourage large suitcases/trunks. Duffle bags or other soft bags are recommended.
  • Cell phone use by campers is not allowed at Camp Marist. Cell phones will be collected when your child arrives at Camp and returned when they leave. Communication should be either through regular mail or the use of the online portal, Bunk1.
  • We recommend $25.00/week spending allowance for your child.
